Memory makes us. Our memory provides us with information we need to live every day. We have ideas in our short-term working memory, and we rely on our long-term memory to store past events. Over time, these memories decay as we struggle to keep them alive. My intention is to create work that reflects my memories and experiences with the environment around me. I am interested in making pieces that can trigger a memory every time I look at it so that I may never forget.
