In this painting I changed the format of my typical squares to a vertical rectangle. This presented new compositional problems. The imagery explores entoptic forms and pressure phosphenes. Context in this political climate, we seem to be trying to move our institutions around and so forth.

This reminded me of a playground when I developed the entoptic composition. Of course the school shootings were happening just about the time I was painting. Stenciled at the top are rifle bullets.
